And no worries bout the belt we have all been in a position where we badly needed something to finish a uniform and not to freak you out you need a baton with this fella  now thats the rare bit to find even i want one of those  i do have a 40th one somewhere but it looks well crap lol

I think it has to be your choice mate and what you are going to get more enjoyment out of, I think Iain's colourful description that 40th is crap off the card is a little harsh (although his opinion and I respect that) I honestly think the 40th stuff looks crap on the card as it screams new. I rather have a mint figure on display stood in front of a tatty vintage card then the other way around but that's me and we are all different. And you may love or hate the 40th stuff but enough people voted for this picture for it to win photo of the month, Vintage or 40th? you decide!

I would say that if your only reason for taking it off the card was to get at the bits that you no longer need, leave it on the card. If you want to display both together, take it off

and off pops the head. There, easy to destroy!

  Re. trooper71's photo,  the fabric of the Army Officer jacket and trousers looks vintage,  but the peak on the cap and the shoes look a tad glossy,  so I reckon it's the 40th version.
